Giovanna joins me today to discuss the physical implications of trauma. She discusses the importance of being open to vulnerability and describes how not having uncomfortable conversations made her relationships with family and friends superficial. She shares her work in mind-body healing and wellness and describes the methods of homeopathy. She also highlights how hypervigilance can exhaust the body and underscores how a person who has experienced trauma can take their first steps toward healing and wellness.

“A trauma is anything that overwhelms your neurocircuitry and has potential physical effects on the body.”
